Grey's Directory is an ever-growing site directory exclusively for websites dedicated to the television series, Grey's Anatomy. This site has been up since June 2005. Link backs are not necessary, although they are highly appreciated! Afterall, the more hits I get, the more hits you get!

If you need to drop me a line for whatever reason, please feel free to email me at Peachie_K@yahoo.com and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible! Thanks for visiting!

    Updates

    Artist spotlight

Grey's wouldn't be Grey's without the music! For those of you who are interested, I am featuring an upcoming artist, Joe Purdy, whose song "Suitcase" was featured in season 1's seventh episode, The Self-Destruct Button and "The City" which was featured in season 2's first episode, Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head along with "Far Away Blues" which can be heard in the episode, Let It Be (season 2, episode 8). He also wrote "Wash Away", the hit from ABC's Lost.

If you like the music from the show, then you'll love Joe Purdy. He represents the style of eclectic music selections featured on the show and it's soundtracks. Not to mention it's a really great album.

You can sample all of the songs from his upcoming album, Only Four Seasons here:

    Grey's makes music

ABC ENTERTAINMENT AND EPIC RECORDS PARTNER TO PRODUCE MUSIC VIDEO USING SCENES FROM THE NEW SEASON OF “GREY’S ANATOMY” AND THE FRAY’S VIDEO FROM THEIR GOLD DEBUT, “HOW TO SAVE A LIFE”

Video Debuts September 7, with an Extended Version Airing September 21, Prior to the Greys Anatomy Season Premiere

ABC and Epic Records have partnered to produce a music video combining scenes from Season Three of the hit series Greys Anatomy and The Frays title track video from their gold debut album, How to Save a Life. The four-minute video, featuring first looks from the first two episodes, premieres THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, following Greys Anatomy (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET). An extended version of the video with scenes from the first three episodes of the upcoming season will air as part of the special Greys Anatomy: Complications of the Heart, premiering THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), leading into the Season Three premiere of the series.

Music has become an integral part of the storytelling on Greys Anatomy, and using a song like How to Save a Life really captures the tone and essence of the show, said Mike Benson, senior vice president, Marketing, ABC Entertainment. Its a great opportunity to take moments from the program and present them in a new and entertaining way for existing fans and people not familiar with the series.

The partnership of The Frays How to Save a Life and Greys Anatomy is a perfect match. The use of the song in last seasons episode was truly compelling and had a huge impact with fans of the band. Both How to Save a Life and Greys Anatomy have a similar emotional connection with fans. Its exciting to expand the pairing and spotlight this connection, said Lee Stimmel, senior vice president, Marketing, Epic Records. [Source]

This song will be on the Grey's Anatomy volume 2 soundtrack and can also be heard now on the season 3 premier promo.

    Love triangle resolved?

The doctors were in, as cast and crew of the hot TV medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" converged Tuesday night for a celebration of the DVD release of the show's second-season episodes.

The cast was generally tightlipped about third-season plot developments, but word did slip that the Meredith-Derek-Addy love triangle would finally be resolved, at least to some degree.

"Well, I think that you do see it, there is definitely a resolution, otherwise it becomes a really strange isosceles triangle," Kate Walsh (Dr. Addison Shepherd) told AP Television.

"So you see a resolution to the love triangle and you see all of the characters on their own a little more, myself included," she added. "The relationship becomes in its proper proportion. You see them who they are as a person and who they are professionally in a whole new and different way."

    Robbed... and still funny

I just found a wonderfully cute video of Isaiah Washington, Katherine Heigl, T.R. Knight and Kate Walsh in an interview at the TV Guide After Party.

Very cute.... click here to watch.

    New layout

I put up a new layout last night, but I was a little too lazy to post about it then, so here's the post now.

The layout features pictures of Katherine Heigl, Sandra Oh, Ellen Pompeo, Kate Walsh and Chandra Wilson from the 58th annual Emmy awards. I'm not sure yet whether or not I like the layout, but it definately has the most different set up this site has seen. I was really just getting sick of the last layout more than anything, so I figured it was about time for a change.

Hope you like it, I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Hopefully the new layout will grow on me...

    Domain time?

I think it may be time for me to purchase a domain name. Maybe something easy to remember like Greysdirectory.com or Greys-Directory.com. I've been considering it for awhile now, but this site has really started to take off in the past few months so it may be time!

I've also be thinking about purchasing a license for the full-featured version of WSN Links. It's about $100 but I think it may be worth it. There would be more features that visitors could use.

I don't know, we'll see if I have enough money. Wishful thinking I suppose.

    New SOTM

Oh god... I just realized that I still haven't changed the SOTM yet and it's already September 3rd! Boy, I am sliding... let me see... who shall it be?

    Grey's Anatomy.nl
This is a Dutch fansite for Grey's Anatomy with information, cast biographies, episode guide, HQ Picture Gallery and much more. An English version of the site is coming. I chose this site because it has a beautiful layout and lots of content.

Bored? Go check out Grey's Blends, a branch of Grey's Addiction and make some art!
